The Palestinian Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence in this year tended to make virtual forum instead of physical form. The forum contains an area for 25 booths for incubated startups, an area for sponsors, and a sessions hall, in which the visitors can watch valuable sessions from international and local experts.
The organization of this virtual Forum, for the first time, comes in line with the preventive measures related to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. This year, the Forum aims to present and share national and international experiences in facing the pandemic, and to evaluate the Palestinian experience by presenting initiatives and success stories that have contributed to reducing the impact of the pandemic and drawing lessons learned. Successful global experiences of using technology in innovation will be highlighted; especially in areas that have been clearly affected by the pandemic, and the Forum will address the shape of the post-pandemic world and the changing features that will affect various sectors. As usual, on the margins of the Forum, a virtual exhibition will be organized for emerging companies and investment-ready projects that flourished during the pandemic, in addition to a special corner for initiatives that contributed to serving the Palestinian or international community during the pandemic.
